CULTURAL PREFACE: A LANDSCAPE REINVENTED

On the shores of Lac St-Louis lies the new Centennial Park, a true cultural park, where the boundaries between architecture and landscape are blurred to create an immersive experience for the citizens of Beaconsfield. The new park features new paths of discovery and appropriation - civic, cultural and animated. At the heart of the park is the new multifunctional cultural center, a veritable hub of activities. The large cultural pavilion delicately blends into this unique landscape, embracing its topography, insinuating itself through the trees and mature canopy. The relationship between architecture and landscape is delicate, warm and human. Here, architecture is a pretext for contemplation, and landscape is a pretext for discovery. Together, they imagine the space of the new
Centennial Park.
