Keeping the viaducts not only retains an important historical structure, keeps traffic moving efficiently overhead, keeps mined materials out of landfills, but can create a dynamic community space; a structure which can be more than what it was initially designed for. Our vision for the viaducts creates an enormous canopy, sheltering all beneath it, growing local businesses and communities; restaurants, gardens and markets: currently absent in this growing residential area.
